Veteran’s Day 2019- Free & Discounted Resources for Veterans and Families

In honor of Veteran’s Day, several businesses in the Rochester area are offering free or discounted products and services to local Veterans today. If you are a veteran, or you know someone who is, check out the list below for all participating locations.

The Distillery– Active military service members and veterans with valid military ID can get a free lunch entree today until 7 p.m.

Buckman’s Car Wash– Free car washes will be provided to active military service members and veterans with valid military ID during normal business hours today

Dan’s Crafts and Things– Active and retired U.S. service members will be eligible to receive free plastic model kits of planes, ships, and cars during regular store hours. Service members should bring their valid military ID and a coupon for the offer (click here for coupon). There will also be free coffee and Donuts Delite available on site.

The Beer Market– Veterans and active duty military members in uniform or with a military ID can receive a free dine- in entrée on Veterans Day.

110 Grill– From 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., all veterans and active duty military members with military ID or proper proof of service will be eligible for a complimentary lunch from a pre-selected menu (click here to view the menu). ***Taxes, gratuities, and beverages are not included in the offer.***

Salvatore’s– All veterans and active military members will be offered a free 12-inch thin thin pizza with mozzarella and one topping from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. ***Pick-up or dine-in only, limit 1 pizza per person, must show a valid military ID.

Top’s Friendly Markets– If customers can prove the are related to, or they themselves, are a U.S. Veteran, active duty, reserve or retired military personnel, they will receive 11% off their groceries.

Texas Roadhouse– Free lunch will be provided to veterans and active members of the U.S. military, with proof of service, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Must choose from a pre-selected menu, which can be found here.

Applebee’s– Free meals for military service members with proof of service. Click here to see the full veteran menu.

Mad Hatter Restaurant & Bakery– Veterans and active military service members who bring their military ID will receive a free meal during normal business hours, from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Seneca Park Zoo– All active and veteran military personnel with proper military ID will receive free admission to the zoo for themselves and one guest during the week of Veteran’s Day (November 11th- 17th).
