USPS is About to Get Pricier and Slower For the Holidays

Written by on September 29, 2021

If you rely on the United States Postal service for the Holidays, you might want to start getting out those packages. Starting this Friday, USPS spokesperson Kim Frum stated that USPS will start to “implement new service standards” for first-class mail, slowing its target delivery time by about 30%. On top of that, beginning October 3rd and ending on December 26th, USPS will temporarily increase prices on all “commercial and retail domestic packages” due to the holiday season. Frum stated: “With this change, we will improve service reliability and predictability for customers while also driving efficiencies across the Postal Service network.”
