Usher And Chris Brown Cancel Tour Dates
Usher and Chris Brown canceled four dates of ‘The R&B Tour,’ according to Complex. The Baltimore concert on October 17, the Cincinnati show on October 24, the Columbia, South Carolina concert on October 29, and the Indianapolis concert on Halloween were all canceled. A statement shared with the press cited “the health and well-being” of the tour’s participants as the reason.
“Following an extensive run of sold-out stadium shows on one of the year’s biggest tours, the event promoter has made the difficult decision to cancel select upcoming dates on the R&B Tour to prioritize the health and well-being of the touring party and crew,” reads the statement, per the Baltimore Sun. “The demands of a tour of this length and scale are significant, and these adjustments will allow the tour to continue safely and sustainably through the remaining scheduled performances.”
Chris Brown Has London Court Appearance
As reported by The Shade Room, Brown pleaded guilty to affray at London’s Southwark Crown Court in July 2026. Breezy reportedly hit music producer Amadou “Abe” Diaw over the head with a bottle. Brown allegedly hit Diaw twice over the head at a London nightclub back in 2023, according to the Associated Press. Diaw filed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against Brown, but he later withdrew the complaint.
Brown was granted $6.75 million bail so that he could go on tour. However, he is expected to return to the U.K. for his sentencing hearing on October 26. Brown could face up to three years in a London jail if found guilty, per Entertainment Tonight.
Coincidentally, the court date lines up with the canceled concert dates.
Ex-Housekeeper Wants Chris Brown Arrested Over Dog-Bite Lawsuit Settlement
Brown is also facing legal drama in the U.S. The Shade Room reported that Maria Avila, Brown’s ex-housekeeper, wants him arrested. According to TMZ, Avila filed documents seeking an arrest warrant for her missing millions. Avila was awarded almost $13 million after Brown’s dog attacked her in 2020, and she was left with scars after having skin graft surgery.
Brown told the jury during the trial that he heard the 200-pound dog growling. He added that when he ran outside, he saw “a lot of blood… The blood kind of freaked me out,” per Rolling Stone.
Avila agreed to accept less money after Brown’s lawyers objected to the sum. However, she claims Brown hasn’t provided dates to examine his financials so she can collect on her settlement, which is now $9.5 million. In addition, Avila stated that the information that was provided wasn’t complete. Subsequently, she began seeking an arrest warrant.
