Urban Choice Charter School was ordered to close its doors after the State Board of Regions voted to deny the charter school renewal due to poor academic performance.
The Charter school has until the end of this school year to close the doors. Urban Choice Charter school has been open since 2005 and is one of Rochester’s first charter schools in the city.
