Fox In Brighton Tested Positive For Rabies

The fox that bit several people in Brighton last Friday tested positive for rabies on Tuesday. The Monroe County Department of Public Health confirmed Tuesday.
Law enforcement killed the fox after reports of it attacking people near Hollyvale Drive and Tilstone Place. The Monroe County Rabies Control Program is asking anyone who encountered the fox to contact your health care provider first and then file a report. You can call 585-753-5171.
