Uptown Records Founder Andre Harrell Reportedly Passes Away

According to a post made by DJ D-Nice, CEO and founder of the popular record label Uptown records Andre Harell has died at age 59. It has not yet been confirmed by his family.
Uptown records was the home For many artists like Mary J Blige, Heavy D & The Boyz, Al B Sure, and Jodeci to name a few. Harrell gave Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs his start as a A&R at the label signing Mary J Blige and Jodeci as his first acts.
Andre Harell also was one of the people behind the hit TV show New York Undercover.
This year 2020 will forever be unforgettable and we’re not even halfway through the year.
