UK Pilot Told Flight Crew He Wasn’t Qualified To Fly

A flight coming from the UK to the United States had to turn around after one of the pilots made an announcement that he wasn’t qualified to sit in the cockpit after not taking his final flight exam. According to reports the flight was already 40 minutes in the air Pack with passengers when the other staff member learned. The flight had to be delayed for 3 hours until Virgin Atlantic found a replacement pilot.
