U Of R And East High School Will Continue It’s Partnership

The University of Rochester and East High School will continue their partnership after successfully working to improve the school’s performance after threatening to be shut down 5 years ago due to being the lowest performing school in RCSD.
Both the Rochester City School Board and University of Rochester agree the since teaming up the schools performance has turned around.
Not sure if there’s any other plans for the University of Rochester to work with other low performing schools in the district. Since the East High partnership with the University of Rochester was successful I don’t think it would hurt to try another school but it’s great to see this success story.
