Two Florida boys, ages 12 and 13, were arrested after allegedly causing more than $50,000 in damage to the school library.

Two boys, ages 12 and 13, are accused of breaking into the Friendship Elementary School library in Deltona, Florida, and causing more than $50,000 in damage.

According to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, surveillance cameras showed the pair vandalizing the library by shattering glass doors, overturning furniture, throwing books, and spraying graffiti.

The boys allegedly returned a second time, triggering a fire alarm around 1 a.m., which brought police to the scene.

After a video of the break-in was shared on Facebook, both boys were identified and reported to police by their mothers.

They now face multiple charges, including burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief, and theft.
