TT Torrez is standing by her man after an altercation at Madison Square Garden was caught on video. The clip shows Funkmaster Flex allegedly having a heated confrontation with a man on Tuesday October 20, and Torrez is spilling the tea.

TT Torrez Speaks Out About Funkmaster Flex Fight

TT Torrez says the video of Funkmaster Flex’s altercation at Madison Square Garden does not tell the whole story. TMZ shared a video of an altercation between Funkmaster Flex and another man during a New York Knicks—Philadelphia 76ers game on Tuesday. The argument allegedly happened at the MSG Delta Lounge, and the video shows the rapper and the man getting physical.

Torrez shared a statement on Instagram on Wednesday, October 21, and the statement claimed that the argument was between her husband and Flex. The duo once worked together at HOT 97, and Torrez claims her husband was defending her against a “bully.”

The lengthy post also included a caption:

“OFFICIAL STATEMENT,” it reads. “This statement serves as our official response to the events that transpired yesterday, during which our client was assaulted. We take this matter seriously and stand firmly against all forms of bullying, harassment, and violence. No one should ever have to endure such treatment, and we do not condone any actions that threaten the safety, dignity, or well-being of others. We ask that everyone approach this situation with respect and refrain from spreading rumors or engaging in speculation as the matter is addressed. Our priority remains the well-being of our client, and we appreciate the support, understanding, and respect of everyone involved. Bullying and violence are never acceptable. We stand against them, without exception. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

Torrez Accuses Flex Of Shoving Her

The statement went on to state that Flex bullied, harassed, and intimidated Torrez for several years. Torrez’ statement also noted that the altercation on Tuesday was a result of the ongoing drama. Not only that, but she claims Flex “shoved her violently” during the altercation. Subsequently, she says she filed a police report.

“What was meant to be an enjoyable evening out for Mrs. Torrez and her husband became a deeply disturbing and traumatic experience,” reads the statement, in part. “A verbal exchange between her husband and Funkmaster Flex escalated into a physical confrontation in which Funkmaster Flex shoved her violently. There is no justification for a man to put his hands on a woman, under any circumstances. Mrs. Torrez has endured years of ongoing harassment, intimidation, and bullying by her former colleague. She chose not to speak publicly and instead addressed these matters professionally and through the appropriate legal channels. That process ultimately resulted in a settlement with Mediaco Hot 97 and a non-disparagement agreement, which Funkmaster Flex has continued to violate. The events of October 20 were a painful continuation of what she has been dealing with privately. The brief video circulating online does not tell the full story. What the public saw was a husband defending his wife. It does not reflect the years Mrs. Torrez spent time working to resolve this matter with dignity, professionalism, and the guidance of her legal team.”

Funkmaster Flex Shares Multiple Posts About Altercation

Funkmaster Flex shared TMZ’s clip on Instagram. On Threads, Taylor denied reports that he had been punched and alleged he was being baited into a payout.

“HAHAHAHAHA! THIS MUSIC INDUSTRY COUPLE HAS AN ‘ACTIVE CASE’ AGAINST ME AND MY COMPANY,” he wrote. “TRYING HARD TO BAIT ME INTO A PAYOUT! YALL AINT SMARTER THAN ME! APPROACH WHEN THAT CASE DONT EXIST! SHADOW STOKES! THURSDAY! 7PM! I GOT A STORY TO TELL!”

In addition, Flex called Torrez’s husband an “ambulance chaser” and added that he would reveal more on his show.
