Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation has donated $1 million in scholarships to HBCU students who have or are graduating from the class of 2022. Over 38 schools are eligible, including Alabama A&M University, Central State University, and Prairie View A&M University where Scott’s grandfather attended.

Travis Scott stated: “Excellence abounds in every Black household, but too often opportunity does not- and Black students are left behind or counted out. So that’s what my family and I set out to change.” In order to qualify, students must have a 3.5 or higher.
