I’m not sure if it’s just my age now or if this is just an odd time period but, more people seem to be coming out with various accounts on how religion has hindered their progress in life.
In an exclusive interview with Guardian media company, Toni Braxton discussed her upbringing, career and more. She expressed that sex is something she wishes would’ve happened more often at a younger age. “I regret not having sex when I was younger. I should’ve drank more. I should’ve partied more… smoked more”, Braxton said. The 52-year-old songstress also added, “I think my religious upbringing stopped me doing a lot of things that I should have done. It’s not a good look at the age I am now. The way it works is you do that stuff in your 20’s and 30’s and then, in your 40’s you’ve earned enough to pay for the therapy.”
