Kristopher Culbertson, 42, of Canandaigua, was arrested after a vehicle search uncovered illegal weapons and gear, including an assault rifle, high-capacity magazines, a loaded handgun, and body armor, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Culbertson, originally from Colorado, is barred by court order from owning such weapons.
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and released on $5,000 bail.
A tip through the sheriff’s app led to the arrest.
