Fireworks vendors like Bille Jo Gonzales in Butte, Montana, are selling CBD dog treats, providing a dual solution to fireworks-induced anxiety. Despite these efforts, shelters nationwide brace for an influx of runaway dogs. Maricopa County shelters in Arizona, already over capacity, are offering free microchipping to help reunite lost pets with owners. Precautions like keeping pets leashed, even within enclosed spaces, and creating quiet, insulated areas at home are also recommended to prevent pets from escaping when frightened.
