Today is the world premiere of the new “The Suicide Squad,” and was supposed to be a premiere for The Weekend as well. His new video to his newest single, “Take My Breath,” was pulled ahead of its release in Imax theaters in fear the “intense strobe lighting” could trigger seizures, according to Variety. He previously had a deal with Imax to premiere his video along with the movie, which will no longer be happening.
The Weekend first announced the single on Monday night via an Olympics promo for the Team USA Women’s Track & Field team:

Now, the Grammy award-winning pop singer has to settle with sometime after the single to premiere his video. The song is the first release from his upcoming fifth studio album.
