‘The Voice:’ Judges Are Wowed By Local Teen Jack Rogan

This week, 18-year-old Jack Rogan from Webster has wowed this season’s judges on the NBC show, ‘The Voice.’ Within 15 seconds, judges Kelly Clarkson and John Legend spun around in their chairs. Jack performed a moody rendition of The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun.”

Jack Rogan ended up choosing ‘Team John Legend,’ where his coach had this to say about Jack: “I turned very early for you. I would argue I turned right before Kelly. What got both of us … was just the gravity and the beauty of your tone. You sound so heartbreaking … I thought it was such a thoroughly enjoyable storytelling performance.”
