The Uvalde Foundation For Kids said they received requests from parents and students that fear going back to school because of the shooting and near tragedy at Franklin. The organization will be providing training resources and intervention by those impacted by the shooting.
The Uvalde Foundation For Kids was created after the 2022 mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas. 19 elementary students and two teachers were killed. The foundation will also investigate the schools response and the safety of students after the shooting.
