The NFL Is A Little Too Late

My thoughts on Roger Goodell apology on peaceful protest in the NFL is garbage.
I look at the timing of everything and this apology comes days after Drew Brees made the statement about disrespecting the flag and was immediately corrected.
In Roger Goodells apology, he said the NFL condemned racism of any kind and they were wrong for not addressing the racial problems in the league from players earlier on.
Now during this whole apology Colin Kaepernick name wasn’t mentioned once.
My thing is this, I don’t believe you understand something you claim you didn’t understand or you wasn’t trying to understand for the last few years.
Everything that Roger Goodell addressed was brought to his attention in plain English. What Roger Goodell does understands is the power has shifted with the Black Lives Matter movement and the NFL could potentially lose out on tons of money.
The NFL should’ve just stay quiet and let the players continue to do their peaceful protest during the national anthem and donate money to the cause. The damage has already been done Colin Kaepernick has been black ball from the league for the last 4 years.
No more apologies more action less words.
All lives only matter when it’s money on the line win or lose and green is the only important thing these companies understand. It’s always about the money never the people.
