The Esther Project Brings Holiday Cheer to Formerly Homeless Families

The Esther Project, in partnership with Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, delivers “Christmas Bundles of Love” to families recently transitioned out of homelessness. At the Rochester Police Locust Club, volunteers distribute trees, ornaments, wreaths, and lights to help make new homes festive for the holidays. The Esther Project supports women leaving shelters with transitional housing and resources to prevent recurring homelessness. Executive Director Cheryl Snead emphasizes the emotional value of bringing joy to families during a challenging time.
