Beloved film and TV franchise The Best Man is getting a literary revival. Director Malcolm D. Lee announced a new book trilogy that continues the story following Peacock’s 2022 limited series The Final Chapters. The first book, The Best Man: Unfinished Business, co-authored with novelist Jayne Allen, will release on July 1, 2025. The story focuses on Harper, Jordan, and Robyn as they attempt to rebuild their lives and relationships post-drama. Lee expressed excitement about exploring these iconic characters through a novel format, offering deeper insights into their inner worlds. The trilogy aims to both satisfy long-time fans and welcome new readers. The second and third installments are expected in 2026.
