Serayah Reposts Footage Of Friend Celebrating Her Breakup

On her Instagram Stories on Monday, Serayah reshared a close-up look at a cake her friend had decorated. The sweet treat was covered in white frosting, topped with six glazed strawberries, and finished with a spicy message: “F*ck that n*gga.” Also, the friend recorded an apartment decorated with ceiling balloons and a fresh bouquet of flowers.

“Anyways, thank you next! Celebrate your homegirls,” Serayah’s friend wrote. Adding, “It’s actually a celebration because thank you for releasing my friend into something better.”

What Happened Between Serayah & Joey Bada$$?

As mentioned, Serayah brought the news of her split from Joy Bada$$ to the internet herself! She shared a multi-paragraph post addressing the need to choose herself. Also, she alleged that Joey was a habitual cheater including during vulnerable points in her life. She wrote, “Unfortunately, I had to face a painful truth: there had been repeated infidelity throughout our relationship, including during some of the most vulnerable and meaningful moments of my life.”

She did not specify the extent or nature of Joey’s alleged cheating. However, after sharing the statement, she also temporarily dropped receipts on IG Stories! She posted a clips of Joey seemingly speaking about his Serayah’s issues to another woman. After someone in The Shade Room’s comment section wrote, “…and there will always be a bird on standby,” Serayah responded with a laughing emoticon.
