A THOUSAND AND ONE follows unapologetic and free-spirited Inez (Teyana Taylor), who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from the foster care system. Holding onto their secret and each other, mother and son set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City.

In case you missed it, Teyana Taylor aka Spike Tee (inspired by Spike Lee) won the Video Director of the Year award at the 2020 BET Awards, in a category against legendary directors Benny Boom, Dave Meyers and Director X.
Under her female-led producing company, The Aunties Production, Teyana’s also directed music videos for Macy Gray, Schoolboy Q, Wale, T.I., and Lil Duval, to name a few.
