David Aaron Bloyed, 60, of Frost, Texas, was convicted of interstate communication of a threat after posting violent and antisemitic imagery directed at Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk. The threats came following an altercation between a neo-Nazi group and a bar worker in downtown Nashville, where one group member used a swastika-topped flagpole to assault the employee. Bloyed’s posts included lynching references and Nazi symbols, prompting his conviction in federal court. He now faces up to five years in prison. Authorities emphasized the ruling as a rejection of hate-fueled threats and a warning against targeting public officials with violence.
