Tesla Fatal Crash With No One Driving

Texas police say an accident that occurred involving a Tesla vehicle taking the lives of two passengers was most likely the result of an autopilot feature.

The accident happened on Saturday night, according to TMZ. Authorities assessed that physical evidence shows neither of the passengers was driving the Tesla 2019 Model S vehicle.
Apparently, the Tesla was riding at a high speed and failed to complete a turn, resulting in a loss of control and crashing into a tree then, a fire broke out. Both passengers died on the scene.
Coincidentally, Elon Musk tweeted about his first quarter safety report just hours before the crash. “Tesla with Autopilot engaged now approaching 10 times lower chance of accident than average vehicle.”
