Two teenagers were arrested early Thursday after a police chase involving a stolen Hyundai ended with a crash on South Clinton Avenue near Interstate 490.
Police responded to reports of vehicle break-ins and located the stolen vehicle, driven by a 14-year-old boy with a 16-year-old passenger.
The chase began when the vehicle drove directly at a police sergeant’s patrol car and ended when it hit a parked vehicle.
The driver faces multiple charges, including reckless endangerment and possession of stolen property, and was taken to a children’s detention center.
The passenger is also facing similar charges. No injuries were reported.
