Well it’s official! Uber and Lyft can now operate in New York State but most importantly in Rochester. Governor Cuomo signed the bill that will allow ridesharing companies to expand into upstate New York. That means Uber can start servicing the area after June 29th.  

Governor Andrew Cuomo has awarded $7.3 million for college-level education and training for more than 2,500 inmates.
