SZA ‘Kill Bill’ Finally Hits #1
Written by Site Hub on April 29, 2023
SZA’s song “Kill Bill” has finally reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, after spending 18 weeks on the chart, 17 of which were in the top 10, and 8 of them at No. 2. This achievement occurred in the chart dated April 29. The song’s late surge to No. 1 (from No. 4 the previous week) was primarily due to the release of a remix featuring Doja Cat, SZA’s former co-star. However, SZA is still officially credited as the sole artist at the top spot, as the remix did not account for the majority of the song’s overall consumption during the chart tracking week. This marks SZA’s first No. 1 hit on the Hot 100, having previously peaked at No. 3 as a featured artist on Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More.”
