Super Soaker Water Guns Recalled

Written by on August 20, 2020

If you purchased a Super Soaker from Target recently there has been a recall for lead in the stickers. There are two models of the popular water guns with this recall.

The two water guns are the Super Soaker XP 20 and the Super Soaker XP 30. They contain high levels of lead in the ink of the stickers on the water guns. Lead at high levels is toxic if ingested and can cause serious health problems especially in children. The lead in the ink of the stickers is way over the federal limit thus the recall.

The water guns recalled because of the high lead levels were sold from March 2020 to July 2020. According to WHEC.com they were sold only at Target.

If you purchased the toys make sure you remove them from children and call Hasbro Inc. 1-888-664-3323.
