Written by on September 3, 2022

Looking for a front-row seat to NASA’s historic return to the moon? Well look no further than the Strasenburgh Planetarium! This Saturday afternoon, the first phase of the Artemis mission is scheduled to lift off after it had to be scrubbed earlier this week to resolve some engine issues. The unmanned rocket will fly by the moon to check things out for NASA’s eventual mission to put astronauts back on the lunar surface. The Strasenburgh Planetarium will livestream the launch. Doors open at 2 p.m. Tickets are free and can be reserved online!
