DMV kicks off its annual underage drinking at summer events like concerts and festivals throughout New York State by checking for fake IDs.
DMV Investigators will be working with the State Liquor Authority, State and local law enforcement at different locations and venues.
If anyone under the age of 21 is found with a fake ID or using someone else’s ID to buy alcohol, they could be ticketed and have their license suspended or revoked for a minimum of 90 days or up to one year.
