According to a poll from USA Today 1 out of 5 teachers say, they don’t see themselves back in the classroom if schools reopen by the Fall.
The report continues, that the number of teachers claiming they will not return is higher when it comes to teachers ages 55 and older- 1 out of 4 teachers will not be returning.
83% of teachers said they’re having more difficulty now teaching and 2/3 of teachers said they’ve been unable to work properly since starting to teach remotely.
Younger teachers are saying that they’re having a harder time than the older and experienced teachers during this time with 60% having five years or less teaching experience feeling that they weren’t trained well enough for this unexpected change.
