It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cyrus Aloysius Allen (Douglas, Georgia), who passed away on April 22, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

A burial will be held on Sunday, April 26th 2020 at 1:00 PM at 4216 Donnie Harper Rd, Douglas, GA 31533.

For over thirty years, Cyrus “The Love Sponge” Allen was the soothing voice on The Quiet Storm that so many people looked forward to hearing Monday through Thursday, from 10pm to 2am. He will be remembered by his family, friends, co-workers and listeners for his knowledge, love and sense of humor that made everyone’s life brighter.
