Seven RCSD Educators Honored for Excellence in 2025 Awards

The Rochester City School District (RCSD) recognized seven standout staff members as “Educators of the Year” for 2025, honoring those who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to students and community. Established in 2021, the annual awards celebrate educators nominated by parents, students, and local community members. The honorees include Jamie Lustig (Administrator), Margot Egling (Elementary), Noelle Rich (Bilingual), Richard Holland (Secondary), Anastasia Polashenski (Special Area), McKensey McDonald (Related Services), and Dannetta Lee Singletary (Support Staff). These recipients represent a wide spectrum of the district’s educational workforce—from central office administrators to specialized teachers and support personnel—demonstrating RCSD’s commitment to holistic and inclusive education. The award ceremony is scheduled for May 28 at 131 West Broad Street.
