Second Suspect Arrested in $452K Armed Bank Robbery in Monroe County

A second man, 60-year-old Michael O’Shea, was arrested Tuesday in connection with last week’s armed robbery at an M&T Bank in Monroe County.

He faces robbery and grand larceny charges.

The first suspect, John Savage, allegedly stole about $452,600 after threatening bank employees and forcing them into a vault. Both men are now in custody, each held on $50,000 bail.
