A school bus carrying 10 high school students from the East Irondequoit Central School District was struck by a bullet while traveling along Route 104 on Monday morning. The incident shattered two windows, but thankfully, no injuries were reported among the students on board, who were en route to The Aquinas Institute. While school district officials stated the bus was hit by a bullet, New York State Police have identified the impact as caused by a projectile.
