The Boys and Girls Club of the city of Rochester is warning of someone attempting to scam city residents.
There is an individual going door to door claiming they are raising money for the club, said the Boys and Girls club leaders. The area the person is going door to door is in the South Plymouth and Exchange Street area soliciting for donations.
The Boys and Girls Club said they are not accepting any money for an event. The individual is not with the organization and you should not give them any money or personal information.
