Satirical Trump statues are appearing in cities across the U.S.

Satirical statues mocking former President Donald Trump have been popping up in several U.S. cities, stirring controversy and public reaction. Initially appearing in Washington, D.C., the statues include a replica of Nancy Pelosi’s desk defaced with feces and a sculpture of a hand holding a tiki torch, both referencing divisive moments in Trump’s tenure. Similar statues appeared briefly in Philadelphia and Portland, depicting Trump in a suit with a suggestive hand gesture, accompanied by quotes from his infamous 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape. These installations, placed next to statues of women, symbolize Trump’s history of alleged sexual misconduct. The Portland statue was quickly vandalized, with a local council candidate participating in its destruction. Philadelphia’s statue was removed by city workers shortly after installation. While it remains unclear if the same artist created all these statues, their shared style and plaques suggest a coordinated satirical critique of Trump’s legacy.
