On Christmas morning in San Francisco, a woman was transported to a nearby hospital in “serious condition” after her car went off a cliff and landed onto the beach below.

The San Francisco Fire Department tweeted that a car went over a cliff at Fort Funston and flipped over onto the beach at around 12 pm.

According to the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, Fort Funston is a former defense harbor located in southwest SF that has “200 ft high sandy bluffs.”

It isn’t clear how the accident happened, but there is video of the woman being taken from the car and placed on a stretcher.

The Golden Gate National Parks Service has tweeted:

“Please stay clear of vehicle while we work to remove it over the next few days.”
