RSV Vaccine Up For Federal Approval

After decades of trials and discussion, the first RSV vaccine is now up for federal approval with decisions expected to be made by August. Medical professionals began working on the RSV vaccine in the early 1960s, but the process has been slow.
Upstate University Hospital doctor and professor Jana Shaw stated: “It not only affects young babies, but it also can affect adults. The clinical trials have to target different age populations with different risks.”
