Romeo Miller Reflects on Joy, Grief, and Healing in We Three Kings

Written by on December 1, 2024

In Lifetime’s upcoming holiday film We Three Kings, Romeo Miller brings a heartfelt performance influenced by his own journey with grief. Speaking at Lifetime’s winter holiday slate celebration, Miller revealed how the movie’s themes helped him process the loss of his sister two-and-a-half years ago.

“I’ve done a lot of holiday films, but this one is different because of its story,” said Miller. “It deals with grief, and it helped me heal. A lot of people deal with grief differently, and this movie shows that in a beautiful way.”

Set to premiere on November 30, We Three Kings follows a father’s mission to reunite his estranged daughters for the holidays through music, memories, and the power of family love. Executive producer and co-star BeBe Winans, joined by his niece Deborah Joy Winans, plays the role of the father bringing his daughters together.

Winans described the film as a touching experience for families: “It’s a story where everyone can see a bit of their own life. It’s something the whole family can sit down, cry together, laugh together, and learn together.”

Miller emphasized the emotional depth of the project, calling it “like going to therapy,” and believes it will resonate deeply with audiences.
