The Dome Arena, a fair and convention complex, was built in 1972 in Henrietta, NY. The facility features over 25,000 square feet of exhibition space to support concerts, trade shows, indoor sports events and conventions.

Not only was it the former home of the Annual Monroe County Fair, The Dome Arena also served as the home court for the Rochester Zeniths of the CBA from 1978-1983. During that time, the Zeniths secured two CBA championships in 1979 and 1981. The Dome has also played host to indoor football team, the Rochester Raiders (2010), and has been the home of the home of the Roc City Roller Derby since 2009.

After undergoing major renovations, the Dome Arena is ready to host a new wave of events that will utilize the newly upgraded facility. Nearly $8 million in renovation costs and nine months of labor went in to the new and improved Dome Arena. The results?

The Dome now boasts a brand new party deck, allowing for more intimate and special gatherings. Upgrades to the acoustics and a new state of the art lighting system within the 50 ft high ceilings, which can be programmed to design lighting patterns, all add to a more enjoyable concert-going experience.

The welcome court received some TLC as well with two new box offices and brand new display monitors, providing a more informed and seamless ticketing experience for Dome Arena visitors. New restrooms, dressing rooms, ATMs, and a green room are among the long list of improvements to Rochester’s premier events facility.
