Rochester’s Gold Medalist Takes Victory Lap

Just one month after winning gold at the Beijing Olympics and recently just winning the 2022 Aerial Freestyle U.S. National Championship, Chris Lillis is back in Rochester and focused on the future and building future Olympians. Lillis, age 22, is from Pittsford and was the recently featured guest at a fundraising event less than 24 hours after being crowned the American champ at Bristol Mountain where he performed on the acoustic guitar.
Iron Smoke Distillery hosted the event for Lillis. The event was a special “Gold Meets Gold” Victory Party and Charity Bash. Money that was raised for the event will go to the 501c3 non-profit called Greater Rochester Amateur Athletic Federation (GRAAF).
