Rochester’s First Whole Foods Opens

After years of waiting, Rochester’s first-ever Whole Foods has finally opened! Yesterday, excited customers lined up overnight to be the first ones in the store. The opening was once again approved on Tuesday after an appellate court judge rejected a last-ditch effort to delay the store’s opening.

Despite the opening, legal efforts are still not over as the groups opposing the store filed an appeal. In the meantime, the store remains open for business.
