Rochester trio accused of possessing $34,000 worth of drugs in St. Lawrence Co. stop

Three Rochester residents were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in St. Lawrence County, New York. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reported that Eban Sternia, Javier Gonzalez, and Brooke Johnston were stopped on State Route 37 in Morristown. A search of the vehicle uncovered nine ounces of cocaine and three ounces of fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $34,000. The three suspects were charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, arraigned in Morristown Town Court, and held without bail. The operation involved assistance from the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, New York State Police, and U.S. Border Patrol.
