17-year-old Danyelisse Pabon-Cubero has died after being shot during a double shooting on Alphonse Street in Rochester.
Police say she was not the intended target. An adult man was also injured but is expected to survive.
18-year-old Michael Garcia was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, and weapons possession.
Police say the shooting was a retaliation for a prior incident. Garcia pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
