Rochester Social Justice Advocate Reverend Lewis Stewart Passed Away At 77

The Rochester Community has lost prominent social justice advocate and United Christian Leadership Ministry head Reverend Lewis Stewart, dies at 77 after a long battle with cancer. Stewart retired just last November as president of United Christian Leadership. He will be remembered for his lifelong work to eradicate inequalities in the community and speaking out for criminal justice reform. Services will be held at First Church of God on Clarissa Street.
