Rochester Police Launching New Officer Training Program

Rochester Police Chief Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan released details on a new mandatory training program for officers.  The program is designed to recognize and learn how to deal with excited delirium, as well as working with adolescents and young people.

The Robert E. Craig Institute for Ethical Leadership will feature a number of different learning opportunities. Some including a two-day training program featuring a panel of guests discussing leadership, community policing. Plus, the future of policing and fostering positive relationships in the city.
