The Rochester Police Department is ramping up patrols following a recent wave of vehicle break-ins, with 15 vehicles damaged in the 100 block of University Avenue and the 1600 block of East Avenue.
Some incidents have yet to be reported, and it’s unclear if any items were stolen. Authorities aim to deter further incidents, and no suspects have been identified. The police are urging anyone with information to call 911.
