On Wednesday afternoon New York State Police investigators raided a home on Woodman Park Drive in Rochester, NY. Local news outlets were quick to point out that the residence belongs to Mayor Lovely Warren. During the raid, the Mayor’s husband Tim Granison was taken into custody, and the media firestorm began.
Granison, 42 was arraigned Thursday morning on drug and gun charges, which he pled not guilty. A total of 8 homes were raided as part of the 7-month investigation that resulted in seven total arrests.

Madam Mayor she has nothing to do with the charges brought against her husband and did nothing wrong. Tim and Lovely are legally separated and continue to co-parent under the same roof on Woodman Park.
“I have not spoken to Tim since his arrest, and I’m not standing here to defend him,” Mayor Warren said of her husband.

“I find the timing of yesterday’s events, three weeks before early voting starts, highly suspicious,” Warren said at a press conference Thursday afternoon.
“If this is not about politics, why is Tim’s next court date the day before the primary? (June 21) Now, when you figure out those answers to those questions, come find me because I’ll be working.” #catchmeoutside
