The City of Rochester’s Summer of Opportunity Program and Monroe County’s Summer Youth Employment Program are inviting community partners to help provide local youth with valuable summer internships.
Over six weeks, hundreds of young people will gain meaningful work experiences across various sectors, including government, nonprofits, and private businesses.
Interns will work 20 hours per week and receive weekly stipends.
Eligible youth must be enrolled in school or seeking a GED and hold a New York State work permit.
Interested applicants can apply through the After School Employment Program or the Summer Youth Program by calling (585) 428-6366.
